The City of Ruda Slaska's Department resposible for non-government organizations (NGO) is collecting backpacks with school supplies for Polish children in Belarus. There a 60 students there in a Polish school that they're wanting to help due to the poor conditons they are living in. As an NGO we will be collecting to supplies for the Polish-belarussian children and mailing them to the students. So, we decided to make a big "Happy Day" out of it! We organized an all-day kid party for the neighborhood where our club is located. There was skimboarding, face painting, competitions, moon bouncing, and much more. A few hundred people turned out for the event along with a team from California and a DTS outreach team from Derby who helped! We had tons of fun giving to the neighborhood as they in turn gave to the city's cause. Thank you to King's Kids volunteers, the YWAM Dts from Derby, the group from The Father's House in California, Skimbim, the Ruda Slaska City Hall, the Building Association RSM, the Water Department, and Tickeventum for printing our posters!
