"It is really You, Lord!" - new phase of KKI in Poland

Wow, it's been a long time since we wrote about our ministry, but since we've come back from Kona after our PCYM school one thing is for sure WE ARE CHANGED and CHALLENGED ...
We learned for sure to say NO to many different things but we also learned to say YES for what is bringing JOY to Jesus' heart in the right time, place and situation.
We are experiencing change in our ministry toward learning how to listen to God's voice and work as family and living the Kingdom together generationally. You can ask how is it? It's not easy because we have been living as a church, fellowships for years separately in everything possible in our communities, churches, fellowships, groups etc....
We strongly believe that 2013 is a year to shift the routine and habits and start thinking differently, to see the young generation praying for the older, and older praying for younger; not only that but working together!

I will start for our hope for the 2013 mission adventure called STRONG TOGETHER, a generational mission to Bless and help and connect with the older generation in Poland who very often is "locked" in "Old folks houses".  If you're reading this and feel a heart for the very often forgotten generation, please join us!

King's Kids Poland split for two different mission this year one is still continue to serve the local society in Ruda Slaska where this year we were able to get a valuable price "The Best Non Profit Organization in Ruda Slaska" award from the Mayor of Ruda Slaska and other one for Grzegorz Skrobarczyk as "Friend of Ruda Slaska" a prestige award for those who serve the city.
We are very Blessed and want to serve the city to change and transform people lives.

In Ruda Slaska there is Kids Ministry serving the needy kids and single mother ministry serving the single mothers and women who are living in a special CARE center (where in 2007 we were able to build Playground )
Ministry is lead by Aniela Skrobarczyk who serving the mom's with Her sister in law Basia who is becoming Christian :-) (this is another story )

Aniela Skrobarczyk and Aunt Basia Ploch next to her from the left and women from the Mom Schelter with Director form the City Social health Department.

The other part of king's Kids ministry is among the needy kids in the area of Orzegow where kk is located and is rethinking the focus to reach the youngest generation to build solid foundations in their lives. Sandra and Lukas with Sandra, Ania, Kamila, Paulina, Jakub, Grzegorz the volunteers trying to reach young generation through dance and 7/11 club. In the same time we are focusing to disciple more our volunteers to know Him Better and make Him known. It is a process so please pray for us !
This year we were in a big financial challenge but thanks to God and family Monroe's God Blessed us and help to covert some of the needs. Our prayer for the next year is that God will show HIS direction to their activity and ministry.

King's Kids Crew from Ruda Slaska to serve the young generation.

As some of you know Skrobarczyk's moved to Warsaw and it was God calling to serve there and build King's Kids Ministry around Poland.
For now, we are slowly building relationships with people around and visiting churches to share KKI values and principles. We sadly had to say No for some proposition to be involve in some ministries here. But we are happy to build first our priority FAMILY and then serve together.
In September we have been invited and involve to lead big kids program for kids in Krakow at Life Festival a Christian Crusade of David Hattaway.
We meet over 60 teachers from around South Poland and challenge them to do teaching creative way - it's been great and awesome to see how people's hearts changes and get on fire.
We have been able to impacted not only teachers but around 1000 kids who came with parents.
God was dwelling through the little hearts and bring them to HIS present, changing lives and impacted their thinking about God the Father.
Personally i never forget the sign on the cross who change me :
" I hated my mom so much , but I understood today that God Love me therefore I have to love my mom" or " God i need you to teach me how to not to lie"
It was great to see God filling up our small tent with His Glory ! There was more what happened but some of the story are really personal and Praise to the Lord that He was there!

Right now we are involve to serve the Private Christian School in Warsaw where mostly we are teaching Bible Hours where with Erin and all the 100 kids we learning how to listen God voice. We don't have so much space to write what God has been doing but he is working incredible through their hearts.
They start to hear and one of the many things we did was to learn serve the local neighbors by doing christams card and praying for them on the street.
Other things we did, we pray and received how to bless others and God show us write letters to really sick kids through some non profit organization. It was incredible what kids received and then their enthusiasm to sent it to two kids.

As King's Kids in Warsaw we are praying to serve and bring Joy to Father heart in the right time.

kids are willing to discover

We are coming back to the normal life , normal situations, normal challenges. It's been hard day for our kiddos and i was thinking what is wrong , what is the thing which cost our kids being such a challenge for us parents.
We are trying to live the way Jesus is teaching us to live, according to the famous scripture from Deutronomy 6,6-7  but it's sometimes not that easy as we think.
Praying about it i realized that i have to come back to the creative way once again and not only few times but ALL THE TIME ( that what my girls says after the creative worship ) We had really awesome time to discover how God is speaking to us and how important is to remember in which stage my kids are right now , how is their capacity and the willingness to understand Who is God and how He talk to us.
God show me how to engage my kids with worship and it was an awesome experience to see them involve and discover HIM how He create us ! I want to encourage everyone , don't be lazy and try to stay awake and prepare yourself to the next day , day of surprises , day of mission adventure !
We did We had and We received !

After Euro - blessings, joy, love, Jesus

Report from Poland | AFTER EURO

After Euro Football Tournament
Last year we were praying for Jesus’ heart for Poland during the Euro Cup, which took place in Poland and Ukraine in June/July 2012. We realized very quickly that we shouldn’t do anything during the main tournament, but that we needed to organize a football tournament after the Euro and that is how we got the name: “After Euro” . I was born in Ruda Slaska and knew how many young people love football and after organizing quite few tournaments during the school year with my brother-in-law, we knew that this one will be special.
We wanted the football players to know as much as possible about Jesus who saved them and share that besides football there is a normal, regular life around them of which they are a part. ”Be Human – know Jesus” – this is what we shared after each game, which took a long time everyday because we had around 200 players and 12 teams. They played on three different football fields around Ruda Slaska, so we could create the feeling of a big tournament.
Sharing about Jesus after a game
All the Polish teams played in the qualifications to the finals and the best four made it to the quarter-finals where four foreign teams waited, a DTS from England, two teams from Switzerland and one from the United States. Of course none of the foreign teams made it through to the finals, but that wasn’t the goal. We wanted to make friendships, show fun and share love from Above. The finals started with worshiping God together which totally surprised the players who never before experienced anything like that before.
During this time we hosted 33 young people from Switzerland, 13 people from Rivertree Church in Huntsville Alabama, 7 people from California from The Father House in Vacaville, one couple from Sweden, and a DTS team of 13 people from England plus around 20 people from Poland. Some of them realized that there is a lot of younger Polish guys who would like to participate in something like this, so they want to help us next year to organize another tournament!
All of the teams together
Our award ceremony took place at the Catholic Church where the whole community showed up to have fun with us. We connected our event with the grand opening of a new social room for the public, therefore we had the privilege to have the deputy mayor of Ruda Slaska, the Director of Social Services and the Principle of the School where we hosted the teams come along. We also announced that in September we will open a public playground with the money the Swiss team collected.
The Deputy Mayor, Principle of the School and the Director of Social Services receive a California Flag from the California Team at the award ceremony
During the tournament we also had a lot of other ministries going on. Every day the teams left to work with the single-mother shelter, the foster house, host a kids’ program, do practical works and of course, football. Ministry included cleaning streets, repairing old playgrounds, making a “spa” for women, cooking cookies together with the foster kids, buying 6 new special beds and painting a room in the school we were living in.
Outreach to the children
It was great to meet in evening: gathering and share testimonies of what God did in our and people’s lives.
One of the many really cool testimonies is about a 14-year-old girl, Ania. She started coming to our King’s Kids club in April, shy and quiet, but ready to help. In the meantime our family was in the States on sabbatical. My wife, Erin, and I were trying have creative worship every day with our own two children, Abigail and Hannah. One morning during our worship time, our 5-year-old, Hannah drew a girl who wants to be happy and is looking for some “magic” land. We kept the picture, but didn’t think anything of it. During the “After Euro” event our friend Steve saw this picture and talked to Hannah, and then he realized that he had met someone who looked liked Hannah’s picture of the girl, here at the event.
Hannah’s picture and Ania
Steve talked to the girl and showed her the picture and Ania just couldn’t believe that somebody knew what was going on in her life. She is living only with her dad (and doesn’t really talk about her mom) and she tried to find better “magic” place and escape from her bad memories. Now she has found her true magic place: she discovered Jesus and accepted Him as her personal Saviour!

half life in Poland... discovering the land

Did you ever feel waking up in different reality ? Imagine dreaming and all the sudden you waking up trying to ketch reality. After three days being in Poland I feel this way.... now its almost two weeks and slowly connecting with the nation and people.
The past few weeks i was traveling trying to see our future ministry place in the capital city in Warsaw , connecting with people and churches, talking , challenging and most important praying preparing the ground for my girls which will arrive the 23th of May.
Taking to people i observed the need in the churches to change the way of thinking about kids, that they are important as well as the adults.
i was able to share our vision and I had really nice feedbacks after words, one of them was really special for me , i don't have any grandmothers and grandfathers , so when i finished talk about linking generations i had nice conversation with one of the old man in my church who hug me and cry ... it was really special and touchy to feel the generation which want to be connected !!!

There is HUGE need for ministry like King's Kids and that make me so excite !

Traveling to Krakow yesterday and listening kids songs , the smooth simply message about God peace, unconditional love and death for our sins brought me mind to the level of seeing by Faith the future King's Kids team going around Poland and serve the older generation !
It was a special moment for me at the bus , I feel little bit uncomfortable because my tears were dropping like the waterfall Akaka in Hawaii. I tried to hide that but I couldn't .... I new that this moment is from God, it was so naturally and so exciting.
That remains me dream and vision God gave me in Hawaii when i was working on my journal

hands who hold each other :-)

Yesterday was good to see friends from Hawaii who are in Krakow now with my friend Paul.
We were able pray and talk about mission in Poland and share our desire for this nation !

memory from our pcym school journal .....

Believe or not we finished our school two days ago ! :-) Personally i Feel reach and fill up by knowledge and experiences. We have been really Blessed by having good teachers with plenty of experiences and passion to their ministry. I strongly believe that God will help us to use the 3 months experiences in Poland to try to understand better kids in the ministry and their Spiritual capacity !
I'm really exited to see the generation 4/14 change but realistically we are aware that other side doesn't sleep either therefore we would need YOUR prayers and encouragement. we realized that we need team - people who will work TOGETHER for the sake of Kingdom of God!
Poland need strong leaders , leaders who will see things in the bigger picture out of the box, leaders who will work together, encourage each other and see not their own positions but Jesus!

Here are the topics we went through during the 3 months :
- the values and principles in kids ministry
- family in ministry
- kids development
- spiritual capacity
- creativity in kids ministry
- team leadership
- faith shields - who Am I ?
- children at risk
- worldview and young people
- youth culture & evangelism

above you can see some of the pages from our school journal :-)

new vision, new passion, new challenge ....

Its hard to believe that we are in our school almost three months , and in two weeks we will be in the road to Alabama in our car (we miss you our gift from God!) and then back to Poland!
We will be able to spend some time with our friends in California and try to meet more people who love God in one of the church there! God is good and connecting us with the right people at the right time!

Personally i feel tired but HAPPY that I was able to meet fantastic people who love the Lord and want to see family connected working together. Especially the last week, which was extremely challenging our worldview. One thing is so true we need to learn to see How God sees the world, some of our believes coming very often from our churches, families and schools. This is where we learn to look "around us" and unfortunately have the wrong view with judge. Anyway, its good to be challenge  by God and see His heart, His desires for us as a Christians who very often boxing their own boxe - it make any sense? How we can influence the world , how we can be the one who can show God in the 7 spheres of society ?

How we can teach our kids to be not self centered and constantly feat their own ME ? How we can rise them to be depend on God and when the hard decision will come to know to who to talk to , to who ask? I'm glad to learn about myself about my background how i see the world , how perhaps people see me.
Its been really fascinating period in our family life where we could be together and learn about each other :-) its been (and will be) really amazing time to see our kids growing in Jesus, by listening his voice receiving pictures and word of wisdom - it only proving that God is speaking to the generation of Joshiah who was only 7 when became a King.
We are also gladly appreciate it the fact that God through teh city of Ruda Slaska gave us new place for our mission community work. I'm glad that God moved us there with special task to be part of something bigger , the renovation of the district called Orzegow. It really interesting that in the smae time the European Union gave money to renovate the old buildings to bring more live , more colors - King's Kids want to be a part of it!

The team would love to build a new playground and dedicate to the local society to connect and see how we can live life together and see more Jesus in us ! EXITED !!!

That our project and Blessing to the society but we will do that because of people who commit their time and finances to bless! we gonna kick the ball and build the playground with people from Holland, Switzerland, Norway, Germany and USA. We gonna sleep in one of the public school and collaborate with the local Catholic Church. Amen Jesus !

As well erin & me we were able to have the privilege as PCYM students, to teach multi international  group of students who are doing  DTS (disciple training school) school and are going for outreach to Cambodia, Indonesia, Philipines and other country how to create a program for kids. It was really fun time and we are exited to hear feedback from them when they come back from their outreaches.
We also staying in tune with our new mission place in Warsaw where we will start to teach at the school Kids evangelism, Listening God voice and Family life - linking generations. We are exited and ready to come back to see What our lord have for us !
Please pray for our new place to live which we dont have yet :-) and safe travel from California to Alabama and to Poland. Please pray for Erin,Hannah and Abigail return tickets to Poland!

God is awesome ! Don't stop learn God till you die !
